Good News From the HACC Photography Department

I am pleased to report the following developments:

Eight of my Fall 2008 photography students were chosen as finalists in the Photographer Forum Magazine’s highly competitive 29^th Best of College Student Photography Contest. As a result, photographs from the following students were featured in the 2009 Best of College Photography book. Great work guys!

Additionally, my HACC colleague Geoffrey Scott and I are both celebrating acceptance of new work in the 2009 Art of the State Juried Exhibition. The exhibition is on view from June 28 through September 20, 2009 at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg.

I recently learned that I have been selected for an invitational exhibition featuring works from my new series of abstract art photography at The Art Association of Harrisburg. Exhibition dates to be announced.

Congratulations to Jessica Weaver, from my Spring 2009 Black and White Photography class. She was granted the coveted David Barrett Scholarship in Photography at HACC.
